Thank you for your interest in Hartsville Home Educators.  

Potential members must complete a membership application. HHE's Membership year runs from June 1st - May 31st (All applications received after April 1st will be for membership for the upcoming year). The HHE membership fee is due in full no matter the time of year that you join. 

There are two membership levels. 

Basic Membership -- $36.00  

  • Access to all HHE events. Some examples are field trips, Protocol Night, Talent Night, and many more.
  • This fee must be paid before your application can be sent in for approval.

Full Membership -- $36.00 Basic Membership plus $30.00 building fee for Co-op

  • Access to all Basic membership plus access to our weekly Co-op classes. (Building fee will need to be paid before you can register for classes)

Application for membership can be completed by completing the below form.  Upon completion of the application and submission of $36.00 membeship dues, the HHE Board will review your application.  Once accepted you will be added to our membership roster and will be notified of acceptance.  If you choose full membership you will be contacted after acceptance regarding the building fee and class registration.

Please record the user name and password that you set up in the registration process.  You will be asked to log in after your submitt your application in order to pay the membership fee.

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

HHE membership is open to all families who actively homeschool K3-12th grades. Please only list children that are actively being homeschooled even if you have other children in public/private school. Hartsville Home Educators offers support to families who legally homeschool their children under the provisions of SC Code Sections 59-65-40, 59-65-5, and 59-65-47 (Also known as homeschooling option 1, 2, and 3) For more information regarding homeschool laws in South Carolina and the three options see our Homeschooling in South Carolina page.

Please note that the principles found in HHE's Statement of Faith govern HHE. You will be asked to sign below that you understand that the Statement of Faith constitutes the governing principles of HHE and you agree to abide by them.

(which may include serving as a classroom helper for classes for all ages and/or serving in other areas such as manning the welcome desk, helping clean-up and supervising children at lunch)











Payment Instructions

HHE membership fees are $36 per year.  
  • Please note that this fee is required to be a member of HHE and is non-refundable. This fee must be paid before your application can be sent to our Board for approval.
Building fee is $30 per year per family.
  • Please note that this fee is only charged to families who participate in co-op classes and can be paid after your membership approval.
